TYPOGRAPHICS 2022 POSTER DESIGN
For my Typography 2 class, we were instructed to conceptualize a fun and playful poster/mailer design for the Typographics Summer 2022 event using a limited color palette in Adobe InDesign. For my design, I opted to use yellow, black, and white as my color palette. I also utilized a playful pattern background and shapes that contrasts with organized and bold typography.
My class also got the opportunity to able to print these poster designs via a risograph printer and I was able to learn more about the process behind risograph printing as it consists of initially creating a monochromatic version of the design and its respective layers to create a series of "master pages" and eventually printing every single element through an organized set of layers.
